![]() Sacrifices on such altars give you the reputation of Kali. Also, skip a few useful items.ħ.Change the default speed to walking, and if necessary, switch to running.Ĩ.The bloody altars of Kali, which appear randomly while traveling around the game world, are very important. If you are in a hurry, you will definitely run into another trap or a suddenly appeared enemy. Do not complete the level in less than 3 minutes. You can use this to make some extra money, but in the second part, the ghost is much more dangerous.Ħ.Move slowly, analyze your surroundings. In the second part, the ghost is much faster than in the first. And he can split into several small ghosts, attacking from any direction.ĥ.If the ghost moves through a gem (red, green, blue), it will turn into a diamond. There is no time limit for completing levels. However, at the 3:00 mark, a creepy ghost appears, which will chase the hero. Clover provides 2 extra minutes. If you play in co-op, then each deceased comrade reduces this time by half a minute. Many secret locations of the game (Black Market, Vlad’s Castle, and so on) are on the back layer of regular levels. Although in Spelunky HD they were all separate locations. Each Spelunky 2 level consists of two “dimensions” or “layers”. There is a front layer that contains an entrance and an exit leading to the next layer. And there is a back layer, which can be accessed through the numerous doors and tunnels installed in the front. Some of them will be hidden behind the landscape. This is an important point, since the location of two or three doors relative to each other will always be the same for both the front and back layers. Thanks to this, you can find many secret rooms.I actually think it’s kinda a negative how easy it is because it’s also tedious to collect a ton of money all the way until the black market where you know you can buy yourself a winning inventory.Spelunky 2 walkthrough.A detailed walkthrough guide Spelunky 2 is a sequel to the original rouge-like platformer, in which players explore a wide variety of locations, trying to unravel the secrets of an ancient civilization. ![]() It’s trivial to get around $15000 in 1-1 and then you check the shop on 1-2. You can stock up on some items easily in the first two levels. There's no good way I'm aware of to actually stock up on items. HD at least let shopkeepers not be an issue, this game makes all their inventory explode. Im sure its just as fair but I feel like I gotta go so slow and cautious and be meticulous with getting money. Past me _did_ play areas with shortcuts a lot before actually making winning runs, but drat. I can handle regular olmec just fine, its just he's a brand new boss now that oneshots me with significantly less predictable random explosions off bouncy projectiles now with the bombsĪfter calming a little from typing that post I actually accomplished something brought a turkey to the tunnel lady, and now at least I can explore the third area without the tedium of the first two. I meant beating that uh, the second form where bombs go everywhere. I feel like the pre-bombed terrain makes it easier to get squished though. For Olmec phase 3 I always just find a hole and bomb it out, though at this point he starts spawning UFOs you can use to make holes if you're out of bombs. Easier said than done because you're not safe unless you're out of his bombing angles. Then you have to execute the last repulsor when he's over the gap. Then hang out at the top of the right side ladder for a cycle so he bombs and opening for himself. ![]() I suppose you could wait until she spawns something like a caveman then throw its corpse at her face? She's probably vulnerable to a rope kill if you have a lot of ropes as well, not sure how many it would take but you could kill Yama in Spelunky 1 by standing under him and throwing a ton of ropes into his face.įor Olmec phase 2 ideally you can follow him down, whip his repulsors, leaving one active at 1 hp so it only takes a single whip to break. ![]() I've seen LethalFrag cook bombs and throw them at her face but obviously he's had a lot of practice with the hot potato toss. I've never actually killed Tiamat without shotgun/stickies. Olmec does seem easier in general given that he doesn’t spawn enemies, but that middle phase with the bombs is a bit much for me. The Olmec Ankh route seems like such a pain that I don’t know if I want to bother yet. What’s the best way to kill Tiamat if you don’t have a shotgun or sticky bombs? I’ve resorted to robbing one of Tusks people on 6-3 but it gets a little dicey. ![]()
